| Message: | I currently own a 2003 M5 and a 96 C4S. My advice would be not to get too hung up on C2S versus C4S. Some like the way you can hang the tail of the C2S out without the AWD kicking in. Others like the way the C4S corrects for driving errors and handles in the rain. I decided when I was looking to focus more on the options that come with the car. Options like sports seats, M030 suspension, LWF, RS Clutch, Gear changes, etc. are more important than whether it is a C2S vs C4S. The options just mentioned easily total $10k. Go for the best optioned, lowest mileage car you can find for the money you plan to spend. In my case, the C4S fit the bill. If it had been a C2S, then I would have bought it as well. I will say that currently, it appears C2S cars are commanding a higher asking price. There's no guarantee this trend will be present in the future, but that's what I see right now. | ||||
