| Message: | I am looking for advice as to how to improve the 996 Turbo's ability to resist brake fade. Even though I have upgraded to Pagid Orange pads, braided lines, and high temp brake fluid, the pedal goes to the floor after appr. ten laps at Sebring. The brakes are big but the car is also quite heavy. The brakes get hot enough that the calipers have turned dark in color. My next step is to switch to GT 3 brake ducts and Pagid black pads. Suggestions would be welcome. Ola Wettergren, Sarasota, FL -86 635 CSiA -01 525iTA | ||||
