As DanglerB mentioned, the voltmeter in the dash is eye candy, at best. Mine never read right even when I WAS pushing 13V. It still was reading a 9 or lower...

To get my true readings, I had to use my Fluke meter....And it was only reading 13 or 14 when I JUST installed the 2nd rebuilt alt. 15 min later, the gauges were all over the place or reading 9 or lower...

I also hooked up a new Cyberdyne Volt gauge in where the ashtray used to be. At least I got an accurate reading with that.....
